splattered hearts..your voice is angry, your words are fierce.splattered hearts..
my eyes are pleading while yours just pierce.
my words, they falter and leave me tears
when you turn, walk away
i yell out "please just stay"
you look back one last time
with fire burning in your eyes.
you threw my heart against the wall and walked out the door.
you left me with tears in my eyes and stripped to the core.
maybe there is something i should be sorry for
or maybe, just maybe, this broken heart won't beat for you anymore
just a bone dangled..your eyes on me, my hands on you, it never was enough. your lips to mine, my smile in yours, it always was too much.just a bone dangled..
your breath dissolving into mine always said more words than my mind could conceive. you filled me, completed me. we molded together, we formed a we.
forever was dangling in front of my eyes as your foot started to take a slow step back. i tried to hold on until my knuckles turned white but with one last “I love you”, i let go.
and you were gone, just like that because it was easier that way.

sparkling eyes must be..and i remember how my heartsparkling eyes must be..
unraveled in your eyes that night while you breathed infinity between my lips and drew forever on my skin.
we didn’t need words in that moment,
love was the air we were breathing and the breath you took away from me.
time didn’t matter, tomorrow would come
and you would still be there. you would always be there, you said, for days, months, years, even lifetimes. you lied.

i never wanted to revert back to this kind of longing. you're right there, you're so damn close. i could touch you if i wanted to.. which i do, it's just that this time around i know you don't want me to. you want her.
i'm looking back through notes and realizing how perfectly you predicted my future emotions and claimed them as your own. it's kind of funny how i never

They were heavy
and the cloth yawned morning-breath light
into my face and it took my eyes
about five minutes to adjust.
I was unable to speak.
Three days later, I managed to spit out
an unclear ‘I never stopped loving you’ when really,
I should have unclogged my thirsty throat
and said how much I love those dimples
by your mouth.
I should have confessed how I want to climb inside
and rest there forever,
but we did not have time for that many words. &
